Smedge 2012 is available for Windows, Linux, and OS-X operation. Download the version for your platform here, and follow these simple instructions to get started:

  1. Download the Installer
  2. Double click it to install Smedge
  3. Start Smedge to add the machine to your farm

  2. Drag the Smedge icon onto your Mac somewhere
  3. Start Smedge to add the machine to your farm

  1. Download the 32 bit RPM
  2. Install it
  3. Start SmedgeGui to add the machine to your farm
64 bit RPM

  1. Download the 64 bit RPM
  2. Install it
  3. Start SmedgeGui to add the machine to your farm
ZIP File

  1. Download the ZIP File
  2. Unpack the archive somewhere.
  3. You may need the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Runtime installed.
  4. Start SmedgeGui to add it to your farm
 
32 bit Archive

  1. Download the 32 bit Archive
  2. Extract it to your hard drive somewhere
  3. You may need to install dependency packages
  4. Start SmedgeGui to add the machine to your farm
64 bit Archive

  1. Download the 64 bit Archive
  2. Extract it to your hard drive somewhere
  3. You may need to install dependency packages
  4. Start SmedgeGui to add the machine to your farm

I already own Smedge 3

If you already own Smedge licenses, and have a valid support contract, you can upgrade to the latest Smedge for free. Simply download the new version, and install your license code.

Your home page shows your license information. You can also generate a new license code there.

If you work with a reseller, you can contact them for more upgrade information.

Where can I find Smedge 3 or the Smedge API

Visit Smedge 3 Downloads to access any previous version of Smedge and the Smedge API for each platform. Your license allowss you to run any version of Smedge released between August 1, 2005 and your support expiration date.
