We're getting ready to make our way into a whole new country! Andrea's birthday dinner is a feast in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) in Vietnam. We have a little over 3 weeks there, and then back to Bangkok to meet up with some friends.
| This boat has seen better days | Our boat needs a little work, so we decided to fly to Vietnam. Andrea will be eating her birthday breakfast in Bankok and celebrating with dinner in Saigon. It's so much easier to say Saigon than Ho Chi Minh City, isn't it? Then again, the real names are all in another language anyway!
Our time here in Koh Chang was wonderful, once again, though much too short. Is it a little sad that we've only seen one of the amazing islands Thailand has to offer? Yes, I guess, but we know we'll be back here. It's a wonderful place with wonderful people, and we can make our way around to other spots over time.
So there are some new pictures in the Thailand section. And, for those of you with a really good Internet connection and some time to kill, you can see one minute of a fantastic sunset on Koh Chang (if you can wait for the 35.6 MB file to download!)

Andrea! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!! I hope your Bangkok breakfast and Saigon dinner was good. :) Did you have cake?? I have loved reading both your comments from your adventures, and the pictures... Awesome! There is one, or five in particular that when you return I would love to get a copy made. Brother Robin, thanks for the postcard from Thailand, I know that Mexican food will taste gooood when you return to the states. It’s the first thing Monica craved returning from Chuuk. Must run in the family! :) Hopefully you will be able to taste some before that, somewhere! I am sure you have gotten updates on Larry and Mom's house, I saw it recently and WOW! Looks great, the 10x10 skylight is well, large but so perfect. The colors for paint they chose are cool. They are so happy to be sleeping there, even if it's in an unfinished room. The house looks totally different, but yet still the same house, just a modern version. Monica is doing good in Atlanta, I talk to her once a week or when we can. She is 3 hours ahead of me here in CA. Ok guys, talk to you soon. With Love, Christine
