Pricing

The only component of Smedge that requires a license is the SmedgeEngine. This is the application that runs on your Engine computers that actually performs the work. You must purchase one license for every machine you would like to use as an Engine. You can run the Master and any Shell programs on as many machines on your network as you wish.

Pricing starts at $100 per Engine and decreases when purchasing in volume. Your license will last forever, but it will only run versions of Smedge that were released up to the date your support contract expires.

Annual Support

Your initial Smedge purchase includes 1 full year of unlimited technical support and upgrades. You can renew your support contract annually for $25 per Engine, up to $2,500 maximum. You are always eligible to run any Smedge version released before the expiration date of your support contract.

Rental Engines

You can rent additional Smedge licenses on a weekly basis for $5 per Engine per week. Contact Uberware Licensing for more information about short-term license rentals.

Installation

Both onsite and remote installation support are available. Installation is available for $50 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum.

Onsite installation is available in the Los Angeles area, and remote installation is available worldwide, as long as you can provide remote desktop access to your network. Remote access can be made by any remote desktop protocol you have available, such as VNC or Remote Desktop. Educational Pricing

Qualified educational institutions are eligible for our acedemic pricing. The educational discount is 50% off the normal cost for Smedge. Please contact us if you have any questions.
