I have a sequence of .vrscene files I would like to submit to V-Ray standalone. The field descriptions in Smedge make it sound like this is possible but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get it to properly format the scene file string.
The scene file path is named:
Q:\job\seq\shot\work\lighting\houdini\vrscenes\v002\lighting_dev_v002.0001.vrscene
I want Smedge to replace 0001 with each frame of the sequence.
There is a section of the Advanced Info tab called Multiple Scene File Options that has "Scene Name Format" and "Enquote $(ActualScene) fields available. The descriptions of these fields does sound like what I need but I can't figure out how I'm supposed to be using them.
Has anyone gotten this to work for sequences of V-Ray .vrscene or Arnold .ass files?
Thanks!
